    Housing Information
    Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH) gives active service members two options for housing; living on post or finding a home off-post within the community.

    • Once you have orders to move, contact the Housing Services Office  (202) 404-1840/6282. They can answer all of your housing questions and provide services such as referrals, resolving tenant-landlord disputes, and guidance for entering lease agreements.

    NSA Washington On Base Housing

    • Navy MWR Washington Unaccompanied Housing can be reached at (202) 433-2667.

    • Military families stationed at NAS Washington DC can find on-base housing at JB Anacostia-Bolling, which is managed by Hunt Military Communities (888) 294-8338. They have 7 neighborhoods with 3-4 bedroom single family, townhome and duplex style residences. Homes may feature central AC, washer/dryer hookups, free lawn care and garage or carport. The community amenities include walking/biking trails, playgrounds, sports courts, parks and more.

    Whether you prefer the urban area of D.C. or the suburbs of Virginia or Maryland, there is no shortage of housing options near the NSA.     About the Installation
    NSA Washington stretches for over 4,000 square miles in the District of Columbia and acts as the common support to naval installations within a 100-mile radius of the Pentagon. Services provided include public works, public safety, community support, human resources and morale, welfare, and recreation. Naval District Washington is known as the "Quarterdeck of the Navy". The commandant of the NSA Washington coordinates official ceremonies through the NSA Washington and serves as deputy commanding officer for the Joint Forces Headquarters, National Capital Region.
